Clas Ohlson
As a Design Director at Clas Ohlson, I have achieved several notable milestones. These include spearheading the total e-commerce redesign in 2019 as the UI Lead and primary designer, as well as developing and implementing Design System and various Styleguides for different teams within the organization.
In 2020, I took on the role of Project Lead and UI Lead to apply the new visual branding across all digital channels. The following year, I served as the UI Lead and main designer for the creation of a new delivery options experience. Additionally, I led a revamp of the product page and its stock status- and store finder functionality in 2022, aiming to improve conversions. As the UI Lead and main designer for the internal back-office CMS system, I provided valuable contributions in 2022.
As a Design Director, I played a key role in the development of the future eCommerce solution and the current eCommerce solution. I also set up an UX and UI team alongside the UX Lead and established a Design QA process to ensure consistency between design and development teams. Furthermore, I introduced change management, cross-functional team structures, and agile processes to the organization.
In addition to these significant achievements, I have also made several smaller design improvements, such as Flyout-based Sign in and Register, Redesigned Product Cards, Flyout-based minicart, Flyout-based product recommendations, New search functionality design, and others.
